and only became a judge a year ago.

He presides over cases mainly in Wythe

Dunford spent 10 days in jail back in
2004 for driving on a suspended
license.

She was indicted by a grand jury in
January on several drug charges and was
supposed to go before Judge Showalter
next week.

She also has two theft charges pending
in district court.

investigation started, but he say Judge
Showalter knew about it and was even
given extra security with the help of
the Montgomery County Sheriff's Office.

assault against two inmates at the

Roanoke County jail.

over the streets of Palm Desert...

Former President Gerald Ford began. A
private service was held in the church
that he'd been a member of for decades.

From there, Mr. Ford's casket
will be taken to Andrews Air Force Base
in Maryland...from there a motorcade
will travel through Alexandria to the
Capitol, where he will lie in state.

Ford's final resting place will
be in his hometown of Grand Rapids,

Michigan. The New York Stock Exchange,
Nasdaq and U.S. Postal Service will be
closed Tuesday in honor of the former
President.
