Williams was shot and killed in a
drive-by shooting incident this
morning.

His stretch limousine was sprayed

with bullets in downtown Denver.

According to police, at least
eight bullets hit the white Hummer
limousine a little after 2 a.m.

Two other people were in the
vehicle and received non-life
threatening injuries.

Police are searching for suspects
and interviewing witnesses.

In December, Williams said he
would return to his hometown of Fort
Worth, Texas, this offseason to talk to
kids about staying out of gangs.

unrest in Thailand, including a

The bombings triggered a major
security crackdown in the Thai capital.

President Ford, a final chance to say
goodbye to the man many say turned the
page on a dark period of U.S. history.

visiting the rotunda. Today the eldest
son Michael arrived with his sister
Susan Sunday son's Jack and Steven
greeted visitors.

Later today President Bush and his wife
Laura are expected to view the casket..
after spending the holiday weekend at
their Texas ranch.



Ford is credited with leading the
nation out of the Watergate scandal and
restoring a sense of calm to the
country's highest office. Now a
grateful nation is paying their last
respects.

And it's not just the common man who
holds President Ford in high regard.
Leaders from many walks of life had
great admiration for the 38th
President.

cathedral where president bush will
deliver a eulogy. Then Mr. Ford's body

completely remodeling the Bald Eagle
Exhibit.
