headed to prison for their role in a
federal fraud case involving the former
Burruss lumber company.

59-year old Larry Carey were sentenced
today in Lynchburg's U-S District
Court.

A jury convicted them last year on
multiple fraud and embezzlement charges
... prosecutors say the pair raided
Burruss's pension and health care funds
and inflated the company's value to
potential buyers.

Their attorneys say it was more a
case of bad management.

poeple filed past the casket at the

President Museum in Michgian.. Many

their turn.

Ford will be buried on the museum

1994 Roy Stevens was among those soldiers
from Bedford who went to France for the
D-Day invasion during World War Two.

He survived the invasion, though his
twin brother, Ray, was killed in
action.

A soft-spoken veteran of war, Roy
Stevens eventually started speaking to
students about the war.

He was one of the founding members of
the D-Day Memorial Foundation and

continued to spend time at the memorial
almost until he died Monday.

Roy Stevens was 87.

Miami Dolphins, who has spent parts of
the last two months denying that he was
even thinking about leaving the NFL for
the University of Alabama - today did
just the opposite.

Saban won a national championship at
LSU, but was just 15-and-17 with the
Dolphins. This just completed season
was his first losing season in 13 years

In Tuscaloosa, he won't get a
beach, but he will make a lot of cash -
$32 million over 8 years - and it's all
guaranteed.
