for three men riding in a dark blue or
black car - similar to a Pontiac- with
Connecticut license plates.
They don't believe the suspects
were staying at the motel but do

basketball player in Wythe County has
been arrested and jailed.

VO-NAT 18 year old Josh Maxwell is a
senior athlete at Fort Chiswell High
school.
He and a 20-year old... Michael
Armbrister are charged with attempted
robbery and a weapons violation.
The Sheriff says they tried to
rob the Fort Chiswell McDonalds early
Sunday morning.
Investigators say the pair went
to the drive-up window, showed a gun
and demanded FOOD.
They never got the meal but were
arrested just minutes after the
incident.
The sheriff says it was a toy
gun.

calf was born on his Wythe County farm
last week.

(HELL-dreth) assisted with the delivery
of this calf, and he thought twins were
being born at the same time.
But there was only one..... She
has four eyes, two noses, two tongues,
three jaws and three sets of teeth.
She can't moo or eat properly so
they feed her through a tube.
Heldreth (HELL-dreth) believes
she has two brains because the calf has
difficulty walking and seems to have a
dominant side.

INCREASE" pay more for power this month.
The company has requested a four-
percent fuel- rate increase to meet the
projected rise in the cost of fuel used
to generate electricity this year.
Customers using one- thousand
kilowatt hours will see an increase of
two- dollars- 45- cents on their
bills.
The rate hike will take effect
while the State Corporation Commission
reviews the request.
Public comment on the matter will
be heard later this month in Richmond.

Goodyear employees returned to work
yesterday.
