332 yards and two touchdowns as the
fourth-ranked Tigers ripped
eleventh-ranked Notre Dame 41-to-14 at
the Sugar Bowl in New Orleans.

The outcome makes Notre Dame the
first team to lose nine straight bowl
games.

The Tigers end the season
11-and-2 while the Irish finish
10-and-3.

2002 The reason is apparently two-fold
:00 - and concerns money and winning.

Saban won a national championship
at LSU, but was just 15-and-17 with the
Dolphins.

This just completed season was
his first losing season in 13 years as
a head coach at any level.

As for the money - he was making
$4 and a half million a season and
living on the beach.

In Tuscaloosa, he won't get a
beach, but he will make a lot of cash -
$32 million over 8 years - and it's all
guaranteed.

He's expected to be formally introduced
today.

Elephants at the Berlin Zoo were
fed leftover Christmas trees that
traders were not able to sell.

Zookeepers say the animals usually
eat leaves during the winter, so the
trees were a nice change of pace.

But not everyone can bring their old
Christmas trees to the zoo.

It only accepts trees only from
traders to make sure they're not
contaminated with chemicals.
