southeast Roanoke tonight for a
stabbing...

It happened a little before eight
o'clock on the 500 block of 9th street.

When police got there, they found
a male victim who was taken to Roanoke
Memorial Hospital....no word on how
badly he was hurt.

The suspect is still at large.

on Marshall Avenue, police were called
out for shots fired but they didn't
find anything.

About a half hour later, a
gunshot victim showed up at the police
station with a non-life threatening
injury. He was taken to the hospital.
No one's been arrested in that case
either.

last night.

The couple was pulling out of the
Parker's Seafood Restaurant parking
lot.

Police say 26-year-old Jeremy
Scott Terry was traveling south when he
hit the Ammermann's car.

A police report showed his blood
alcohol level was point one four.

first degree murder in the death of 23
year old Radford University student
Lori Pleasants.

Her body was found by friends in
her apartment back in June of 2000.

Yesterday, seven weeks to the day
after W-S-L-S fired Singleton, he filed
a criminal complaint against a Channel
10 reporter for trespassing.

PARTIALLY-nude photo of the 27-year old
meteorologist. The picture emerged a

year after Singleton admitted to a
serious heroin addiction. He was not
arrested.

"morals clause" in his contract.

The company told the Virginia
Employment Commission he should be
denied unemployment compensation,
because of his "misconduct."

The V-E-C found no malice.

Katy, Texas who put a billboard up,
advertising pig races on his farm.

A way to strike a nerve with his
new neighbors, the Katy Islamic
Association. He felt the group was
trying to push him off his land and

since pigs are forbidden from the
Muslim diet, it was his way of
protesting a mosque in the middle of a
residential neighborhood.

Well, last week, the pigs raced and
he sold merchandise and grilled
sausages for about one-hundred people
and plans to keep doing it every week.

His Muslim neighbors say he can do
whatever he wants with his pigs, they
don't care.
