two-thousand block of Maiden Lane woke
up to find their cars had been
vandalized.

Nearly a dozen vehicles had their
tires slashed.

One van had been keyed.

Vehicle owners had to change
tires to get where they needed to go.

Neighbors say while this is the
first time they've had their tires
slashed- other acts of vandalism like
windows being shot out with bb's -have
occurred.

Police are investigating.

A raging wildfire has ripped through

Flames destroyed several
multi-million dollar mansions in
Malibu, California-- the neighborhood
of many Hollywood stars.

Arson investigators have been called
to the scene of the wildfire.

out of nowhere, catching many people

It was quick and devastating four
multi-million dollar mansions burnt to

the ground and another four badly
damaged by a raging wildfire fueled by

powerful winds along the coast in
Malibu.

"It blew from north to south and hit
those houses before the fire trucks

could even get there and they were gone
within 20 minutes."

The fire was first reported late Monday
afternoon and it consumed some

20 acres in one of the wealthiest
neighborhoods in the country. A home

belonging to actress Suzanne Somers was
among those destroyed. Victoria

Principal , who also lives in the
exclusive enclave , rushed outside

to hose down her home. it was not
damaged.

"The neighborhood is pretty much going
to look like a war zone."

But luckily no one was killed and only
one person was treated for smoke

inhalation.

Investigators will be sifting through
the rubble today searching for the

cause. They�ve stopped short of
labeling the blaze suspicious, but have

not ruled anything out.

Fire officials do know gusty Santa Ana

winds and an unusually warm

January night transformed this fire
into an inferno.

"This is astounding; you just don�t
expect this type of thing to happen

here."

The blaze was brought under control
within a few hours, but forecasters

warn.. the same hot, dry conditions
that fueled Monday�s fire will

continue throughout the day in
Southern, California.

Catholic Diocese of Richmond over a
span of five years.

According to the Catholic
Virginian newspaper, Rodis retired as
pastor of St. Jude Parish and
Immaculate Conception Parish in Louisa
County for medical reasons in May.

The 50- year old allegedly
suffered a stroke that he told the
newspaper, damaged the right side of
his brain and said he planned to return
to his native country of the
Phillipines.

Rodis' last known address is in
Fredericksburg, near where police say
members of his family live.

move one time too many, and landed
himself in jail.

burglaries in the area, where a thief
entered restaurants through rooftop
grease traps.

Sunday night, the suspect entered a
Subway sandwich shop the same way, and
fell through the ceiling.

He then threatened employees to give
him cash, and took off.

But his luck ran out at his next
stop-- a nearby Wing House restaurant,
where the burglar alarm went off.
