evening for the capitol murder of Eric
Sutphin.

to talk with sheriff's investigators.

broke a 2-inch natural gas line near
the corner of Tennessee & Boulevard.

There were no injuries or
evacuations, but residents were asked
to stay indoors.

The gas company has shut down
that line but we're told nearby homes
are not affected.

more than a hour yesterday evening.
All have since re-opened.

A Virginia Beach delegate wants
parents to be allowed to make
alternative choices without facing
neglect charges.

However, parents would have to
meet certain conditions - like making
the decision with their child.

Meanwhile, Cherrix says his
cancer is in remission and he's feeling

Senator Edward Kennedy has introduced
legislation that would deny the
President the money to send more troops
to war unless Congress agrees first. On

stepped into say you can't run a war by

robbery turned deadly.

Carter, Junior guilty of involuntary
manslaughter and armed common-law
burglary for the shooting death of
Meghan Price.

A second man, 21-year old Jason
Faulkner, is believed to have acted
with Carter. He's still on the run.

When they got there, they found
22 year old Price had been shot in the
back of the head while sitting on the
couch.

The jury recommended that Carter
get 20 years for burglary and 18 months
for manslaughter when he's sentenced in
