Delegate Bob Purkey thinks so.

He's proposing a bill that would
allow localities to install cameras at
no more than 25- intersections at a
time.

Drivers who run a red light would
face a 50- dollar fine, but would not
damage their driving record.

Similar bills have met a swift
death in the House Militia and Police
committee, but this year it was
referred to the Transportation
Committee- where it could get a green

Delegate Bob Purkey thinks so.

He's proposing a bill that would
allow localities to install cameras at
no more than 25- intersections at a

Motorists who run a red light
would face a 50- dollar fine, but it
would not damage their driving record.

Similar bills have met a swift
death in the House Militia and Police

to the Transportation Committee- where
it could get a green light.
