in Halifax County is in custody.
The sheriff's office says deputies
responded to a shooting call on
Turbeville Road early Sunday morning.
Two men had been shot with a
large-cailber handgun. 29-year-old
Dakton Dakeigh Ferrell died at a
hospital.
18-year-old Solomon M. Jeffress,
the Second, was airlifted to a North
Carolina hospital, where his condition
has not been released.

as the suspect. He was picked up in

parlor was one of two jobs he held down

Pizza shop owner Mike Prosperi has
known Devlin for 25 years. while He
calls his former store manager a "nice
guy"... He is still the person who
alerted police about the white vehicle
wanted in connection with the
ownby case.

I told him I was 99 point 9999 sure it
wasn't him.
Authorities aren't saying how Devlin
managed to keep the boys captive,
particularly Hornbeck...who was with
him for so long. For now families of
the missing boys want to focus on their
safe return.

62- year- old William Jefferson
Bohannon died.

Hoops. The Men's Team beat then ranked
number 1 North Carolina at home on
Saturday. The win for the Hokies has
them ranked in the Associated Top 25
Poll. Tech checks in at number 23 in
the country. The Tar Heels fall to
number 4 in the country.

VO-NAT That was not the only good news
in Blacksburg. Tech Senior Guard
Zabian Dowdell was named the A-C-C
Player of the week for his performances
against North Carolina and
U-N-C-Greensboro.
Zab averaged 20 points, 3 and
half rebounds to go along with 3
assists in both Virginia Tech wins.
Dowdell was also 6 for 8 from behind
the 3-point line for the week. Tech is
back on the court Wednesday Night when
they take on Florida State in
Tallahassee. They return to the
Cassell on Sunday to face Maryland.

season before getting destroyed in the
National Championship Game by Florida.
The Buckeyes will try and bounce back

characters next season. There Heisman
Trophy winning Quarterback Troy Smith
is a Senior so he gone.

targets wide Receiver Ted Ginn Junior.
This according to Ginn's Father who
told a Cleveland Paper that his son was
leaving Ohio State Early. Ginn Junior

Also Buckeye's Junior Tailback
Antonio Pittman will forego his Senior
Season in Columubus for the N-F-L. He
rushed for 14 Touchdowns and over 12
hundred yards for Ohio STate this
season That Means Jim Tressell will

Quarterback, Running Back, and 2
