mysterious illness in Radford continued
to make their way to the hospital last
night.

ENG#=3 VO-NAT

VO-NAT Doctors say nearly 70 patients

showing similar symptoms have been
treated since early Friday morning.

The Virginia Department of Health
is heading up an investigation.

They do know however that this is
some form of a gastrointestinal
illness.

But so far though, the cause has
not been pinpointed.

OQ= One common thread is that many of

those treated ate at the Dalton Hall

By Friday, the University closed
two of the four restaurants as a
precaution.

At this point the health
department says the symptoms are
consistent with a gastrointestinal
illness.

The health department says this
is not a public health threat.

However, if you are experiencing
symptoms you should contact your doctor
or go the hospital.

As this point, Radford University
says those 2 restaurants are normally
closed for the weekend.

DOUBLE BOXES=Aleesha & Hollani DOUBLE BOXES

However, Hollani, once test
results come back the University will

to be closed longer.

It's all apart of the VDOT'S plan
to make the roads safer for Virginia's

Gradually, road crews will be
phasing in traffic signs with clearer
