Authorities say for the most
part, folks are taking their advice and

a homicide on their hands.

Around eight last night

officers were called out to North Main
Heights Convenience Store located on
the 500 block of North Main Street.
During their search they found the
owner, 61-year old, Yem Bui (Yem
Boo-ey).

He had been shot to death.

Bui's body is on it's way to the
medical examiners office in Roanoke.

GRAPHIC=Fire, apartment A massive fire tore through an

entire neighborhood in Elizabeth, New
Jersey this weekend.

More than four dozen residents in
about 20 apartments managed to escape
from the block of two and three story
row houses that were gutted.

Some 250 firefighters were on
hand to battle the flames that went on
well into the morning.

Two of those firefighters were
hurt along with one resident.

Investigators believe the fire
started in one home then spread to the
others.

Demonstrators hope to reverse the
19-73 Supreme court ruling in the case
Roe vs. Wade which legalized abortion.

Basketball Team earned their way into
the Top 25 with wins over Duke and
North Carolina. The Hokies clearly
able to get up for the big-dogs in the
A-C-C. But they suffered a letdown
when they went on the road at Florida
State.

Hokies hoping to get back on
track and make sure they were up for
Maryland who came into the Cassell off
a loss to U-V-A

season and looking to stay that way
this evening.

Zabian Dowdell doing his part as
he hits the pretty reverse lay-up,
didn't get a foul call that he wanted
though and Tech was up by 3.

Maryland kept this one close D.J.
Strawberry hits the 3-pointer, the
Terps were down by just 1 at halftime.

The Second half saw Tech extend
their lead to 8 but Maryland came back
to the tie the score and send it into
Overtime.

*CG final Maryland Hokies took control in the Overtime, 64 Dowdell got the bucket and the foul in Virginia Tech the lane, Zab had 19 points and 67 Virginia Tech Wins 67 to 64 over Final in OT Maryland.

Patriots have had the Colts number.

Touchdowns the second coming on a pass
to Defensive Lineman Dan Klecko, the 2
point conversion was good and the game
was tied at 21.

going back to the Super Bowl with the

Head Coach to go to the Super Bowl.
