in custody.

Yesterday, 18-year-old Andrew
Michael Washburn was arrested and
charged with rape and malicious
wounding.

He was later taken to the
Botetourt County jail.

This arrest comes two days after
police say a woman was abducted from
the parking lot of the community
services board building in downtown

Clifton Forge.

Police say he took the woman to a
remote area in Botetourt County where
he raped her.

Investigators say the community
played a huge role in capturing the
suspect.

There they found the bodies of
28-year-old Christopher Holdaway and
32-year-old David Worstell.

accused of abducting and raping an
Alleghany County woman.

Michael Washburn was arrested and
charged with rape and malicious
wounding.

This arrest comes two days after
police say a woman was abducted from
the parking lot of the community
services board building in downtown
Clifton Forge.

Police say he took the woman to a
remote area in Botetourt County where

he raped her.

The prosecutor from Alleghany
County says more charges will most
likely be filed against Washburn for
the abduction in Clifton Forge.
