Yesterday Instead it was in Florida....the
Miami Heat center and Miami Beach
Reserve Officer helped police capture
an 18 year old man who he says slammed
into his parked Cadillac Escalade
yesterday morning and kept going.

The driver and his friend
reportedly had just left a nightclub
when it happened, considered stopping,
but got scared when the S-U-V started
chasing them.

When O'Neal caught up with
them....he flagged down a police
officer.

The driver has been charged with
several violations....including leaving
the scene of an accident.

of drugs or alcohol at the time of the
crash...

If charged....she could face a
maximum sentence of one year in county
