cited in the death of an electric
department employee back in September.

VO-NAT 45 year old Mike Wilson was using
a cherry picker to install new
electrical lines to a chemical building
at the Martinsville water treatment
plant.
That's when another electrician
working below noticed Wilson slumped
over in the bucket.
The Virginia Occupational Safety
and Health investigated the incident.
They found that Wilson was not using
insulating protective gear at the job
site and will be citing the city for
permitting an employee to work near an
energized electric circuit without
adequate insulation.
An exact cuase of Wilson's death
was undetermined. That citation does
not carry a fine.

in Radford will have two experts on
hand to testfy in his case.

court this morning, the judge approved
a mental health expert as well as an
incarceration expert who will testify
about prison life.
Jones is accused of shooting and
killing 39 year old Ken Henry last July
at his girlfriend's apartment in
Radford.
The trial is set for August.
In October 2005, he was convicted
by a West Virginia jury for his part in
the execution style killing of a family
there.

to kill themselves.

March, we found a broken sink and
several toilets out of order.
Outside, there were potholes in the
parking lot, fences that could barely
stand up, and picnic tables that were
in bad shape.

complete turn around, especially in the
bathrooms.
They're completely new from top to
bottom and include new toilets, sinks,
hand dryers, and baby changing
stations.

stops and is currently rebuilding three
welcome areas at a cost of nearly 20
million dollars.

Investigators are looking into a
Russian hospital after this video
surfaced, taken with a patient's cell
phone.
It's now a case attracting
national outrage.
A nurse at the hospital admitted
she did use tapes to help keep
pacifiers in the babies' mouths....but
no word on whether she or the others

items.
On the way she stopped at a store,
where her purse was stolen....it was
filled with jewerly, bonds and even her

she was to open her mailbox a year
later to find an insured package,
inside was her purse exactly as she had
left it. But there was also a note

Duke tonight at the John Paul Jones
arena as the Cavaliers were looking to
win thier fifth straight game and at
the same time put an end to nagging
nine game losing streak to the Blue
Devils.

ESPN Both teams came into the contest
:00 with just two losses in the conference
so far this season.
Duke played the better first half
especially on the inside as the Blue
Devils swattted away a number of shots
on the defensive end and Josh McRoberts
and DeMarcus Nelson helped Duke lead
by as many as 13 in the first half.
But the Cavs cut into the lead
with a nice rally at the end of the
half. Duke's lead was 36-to-29 at the
break.
J.R. reynolds did all he could to
get the Cavs back in it as he fought
off a nasty battle with leg cramps put
the entire UVA team on his back in the
second half.

Virginia tied at 61 thanks to a gamehigh 25
68 point effort.
FINAL IN OVERTIME It looked like it was headed to a
second overtime - when Sean Singletary
ACC hit this wicked fadeaway with one
second left. UVA beats Duke 68 to 66
in overtime.

Bears' defensive coordinator Ron
Rivera is a top candidate to coach the
Dallas Cowboys.
The Cowboys confirmed today that
they will NOT hire a coach until after
Sunday's game.
Any coach involved in the Super
Bowl is off limits for any kind of job
interview until Monday the 5th. Last
year, Rivera was a candidate for head
coaching jobs with the Packers and
Rams. And this season, he was a
contender for jobs with the Steelers,
Dolphins, Cardinals and Falcons.

called the Pro Tow.
Southwest Airlines sponsored the
compeition pitting NFL players, Broward
County Sheriff's office personnel and
Aircraft rescue firefighters against
each other.
The NFL team came out on top
pulling a Boeing 737 50 yards in just
35 seconds.
All the fun or nonsense was in
the name of charity.
