and things only got worse.

The Eagles Jared Dudley was a man among
boys. Dudley scored 16 first half
points, finishing the day with 30
points and 13 rebounds. The Eagles
led by 21 points at halftime 47 to 26.

Tech played even with BC in the
second half, but the damage had been
done. As has been the case much of
this season, the Hokies gave up plenty
of second chance opportunities---26

points to be exact. Deron Washington
was a bright spot, as he tallied 18
points to go with 6 rebounds.

Zabian Dowdell was his usual steady
self, scoring 17. But Richmond native
Tyrese Rice tossed in 20 as BC

maintained for an 80 to 59 win. It's
Tech's second straight loss, and now
the Hokies have a week off to get ready
for Virginia. The Cavaliers visit the
Cassell next Saturday.
