A car accident on I- 81 sent two
people to the hospital last night.

Authorities say alcohol was
involved.

President Bush set aside ten million

dollars from his budget...

donations to send care packages to the

troops overseas.

Along with hygiene items, the
bikers will stuff stationary and snacks
into the packages.

that the largest non- corporate donor
to the D-Day Memorial is the Virginia
Tech Corps of Cadets.

Two years ago, then Cadet Anthony
Madeira visited the Memorial When he
learned it was millions of dollars in
debt and asked Corps leadership if
there was anything they could do.

Cadets collect money at football
games and around campus.

This week they were recognized in
the House of Delegates and Senate for
their contributions so far totaling
more than 140- thousand dollars.

Even though Madeira has
graduated, cadets are continuing the
tradition he started.

boys. Dudley scored 16 first half
points, finishing the day with 30
