Hospital)

"the hope is that by treating them with
hypothermia protocol in minimizing the
amount of brain injury that occured
that they have a better chance of
returning to a full and productive
life."

DOCTORS SAY THEY'VE SEEN THE RESULTS
FIRST HAND.

(SOT-Dr. David Greer/Mass General

Hospital)

(vo)"we've had some miraculous
outcomes, we've had several patients
treated (oc)in the past that probably
would have died or have been in a
severly impaired state. And they've
walked out of the hospital extremely
well so we're convinced this therapy
works very well."

CLAIRE IS CONVINCED THE SYSTEM NOT ONLY
SAVED HER LIFE, BUT HER QUALITY OF LIFE
AS WELL.

(vo) "I feel fine, I'm back to normal
activities."

THANKS TO THIS COOL NEW THERAPY.

DOCTOR MALLIKA MARSHALL, CBS NEWS.
