heavily damaged the building yesterday.

Brambleton Avenue about 2:30 Friday
afternoon.

About 80 kids were inside at the
time but everyone made it out safely.

The actual cause of the fire is
under investigation.

the Wyndam Hotel in Roanoke.

It happened around 1:00.

When Roanoke Fire EMS crews
arrived they noticed smoke coming from
a guest room.

But the sprkinler system had
already put it out.

No one was in the room when the
fire started.

Investigators say the fire
started in a mattress from discarded
smoking materials.

The fire was contained to the one
room but there was 75-thousand dollars
in water damage.

for tuition, room-and-board and other
