The complex legislation relies on

bonding, a ten- dollar increase in the
registration fee and an increase in the
tax on diesel fuel... bringing it
in-line with the tax on regular
gasoline.

Salem Delegate Morgan Griffith is
carrying the bill- which is now headed
to the Senate Finance Committee where
it's been killed once before..

Griffith is worried about what
could happen to the bill, but hopes
senators realize this is the last
chance for transportation this year.
