GRAPHIC=WINTER WEATHER The Roanoke Valley dodged the
bullet, but that is not the case in
Rockbridge County.
Emergency management coordinator
Robert Foresman estimates that about
five-thousand people are without power
this morning.
We've also heard that there are downed
trees on some of the secondary roads.
Meanwhile, there were also
problems late yesterday afternoon on
Interstate 64.

Cars, tractor trailers, even a

The highway was closed in both
directions for several hours.
No word on the extent of any
