Usually the race itself is enough
intrigue to get fans fired up.

But with all of the controversy
surrounding the Great American Race
this week, there is plenty to talk
about.

Teams caught cheating, the new
point system and the introduction of

Toyotas to the sport have fans buzzing.

The 500 is called the Superbowl
of Stock Car racing.

And if race fans turn out to local
sports bars for it the way they did for
the actual Superbowl, that will mean
big business.
