GRAPHIC=Jerry Falwell Earlier this month a major study

was released reporting that global
warming is real and "very likely
man-made".

Scientists from 113 countries
agreed - emphasizing they have little
doubt it's caused by humans.

Even so one - preacher says he's
not buying it.

News 7's Alessha Chaney explain
why Jerry Falwell feels global warming

as we think we know it does not exist.

Pastor Jerry Falwell is calling
much of the science we've been taught
about global warming a myth.

He believes the earth's
temperature has increased a little over
the past 30 years but says it has
always fluctuated.

And doesn't believe in the hype
linked to global warming.

RUN=11 (END SOT)

OQ= Falwell says he's not buying it

because he believes those pushing the
myth are trying to econmonically
destroy America.

He also adds that they want to
switch the subject from the fact that
the world is morally bankrupt.

Reason three, he believes its an
effort to redirect the church's primary
focus.

Tigers vs. Maroons The Sydney fans had plenty to :00 cheer about in the first half.

Their team shot a smokin' 69
percent in the first 20 minutes. Mike
Edwards did lots of damage. He scored
27 points today and was named tourney
MVP.

Page Moir's Maroons managed
only 3 first half field goals. Zach
Milton gets one right here, but the
Noke trailed 42 to 14 at halftime.

Roanoke trimmed the deficit to
11 in the second half. A-J Dowell did
his part with 2 of his 20 points in the
paint.

But the Tigers got it done. *CG final Hampden-Sydney Tyler Murray gets free for the easy 77 lay-in and Hampden-Sydney won it 77 to Roanoke 62, beating the 4 seed, the 1, and the 62 3.

already clinched a first round bye in
the ACC Tournament, and reached the 20

campaign last season marred by personal
tragedy off the court.

With Virginia and Clemson left
on the slate it's already been a pretty
