between a tractor trailer and a car in
Nelson County yesterday.

State police say it happened
around five in the evening, on Route 29
north of Lovingston.
A car headed northbound crossed
the median and swerved into the
southbound lanes, hitting a truck
head-on.
21-year old Angelia Faith Bragg
from Lovingston was pronounced dead at
the scene.
She was a member of the Air
Force.
The truck driver suffered minor
injuries.

person in Botetourt County.
Police say 81-year-old Meron E.
Tolley of Fincastle ran off the side of
Old Fincastle Road, just North of Peck
Lane.
Tolley was taken to Roanoke
Memorial where he later died.
The accident is still under
investigation.

the trial of a six year old Radford
murder case continued yesterday.

is accused of killing 23 year old Lori
Pleasants and cutting her wrist to make
it look like a suicide.
A forensic expert testified that
Gutersloh's D-N-A was NOT found on any
evidence at the crime scene.
But the expert also said
Gutersloh could have still been in the
room.

funeral arrangements for a little boy
who died of a rare brain tumor.

VO-NAT Joshua Cantrell was one of two
young boys from Floyd County diagnosed
with the tumors.
Cantrell was taken off life
support Sunday evening, and died Monday
afternoon.
The family will receive visitors
today, beginning at five P-M at the
Floyd Presbyterian Church. A
Memorial Service is scheduled for
Thursday at seven P-M at Floyd County
High School.
Family members will hold a
private graveside funeral service
Friday.

County.
It's also causing quite a
controversy.

several months ago.
It tells them to "burn in hell,"
and he calls them a name-- a word we'll
show you, but won't say on the air.
Some take issue with the

220 near Boones Mill.

who had been stabbed several times
yesterday morning.
The incident occurred near Tucker
and Henry Streets.

Merchant has been arrested and
charged with attempted murder.
He's being held in the Rockbridge
