this morning in a Radford murder trial.

is charged with first degree murder and
defiling a corpse in the death of
23-year-old Lori Pleasants.

Police say in June of 2000,
Gutersloh strangled Pleasants and then
cut her wrists to make it look like
suicide.

Several witnesses who saw
Gutersloh the morning of Lori's death,
took the stand this morning.

They say he appeared shaken
and upset.

Two fraternity brothers say
Gutersloh asked them for an alibi.

The defense says the friends
are not remembering the event's
correctly.

Agriculture says parasites and

disease have caused smaller bee die
offs in the past, but never anything

hive so it was depressing.

are focused on California where

growing season is just beginning and
bees do important work: pollinating

the almond orchards.
