after a violent storm crossed Alabama.

testing is underway to find out if any
residents or employees at Eastwood
Assisted Living has an infectious
disease......Those very words on a
letter sent out by Friendship
Retirement Community...

the Virginia Department of Health that
an Eastwood resident who died recently
in the hospital had group A
streptococcus.

teacher, but today Thomas Nuckles was
convicted of sodomizing a four-year old
child.

Federal prosecutors indicted
Michael Devlin on four counts of
production of child pornography...and
two counts of transporting a minor
across state lines for the purpose of
engaging in illegal sexual activity
with a minor.
Devlin faces an arraignment next
Tuesday on charges he abducted 13 year
old Ben Ownby.
His attorney says he will enter a
not guilty plea on his client's behalf.
Devlin has also been charged with
kidnapping Shawn Hornbeck in 20-02.
Police say they found both boys
in January at Devlin's apartment.

again??? The frigtening thought going
through the minds of faculty and
students at Columbine High School this
morning.

Crews searched the school for
more than three hours.

Blacksburg is flying high these days,
thanks to the addition of a
state-of-the-art weather balloon
observation system.

the 1950's, so it was time for a
change. The weather balloon carries
instruments called a radiosonde nearly
20 miles into the air to send back
vital information. That data is entered
into computer models across the globe.
