notice changes on several local

interstate highways.

in our region support raising the speed
limit on Virginia's interstate
highways.
Survey USA conducted the
scientific poll Tuesday of 500 people
in our viewing area.

VO-NAT For starters, almost two-thirds
of those contacted - 65 per cent -
think the state's speed limits are
generally just about right.
But when we asked whether they
would support raising the state's
interstate speed limit to seventy, 61
per cent said yes, they would. 35 per
cent answered "no".

change in their pension and retiree
benefits.

will be affected by the change.
The process will be phased in
over a two year period....with the most
significant pension plan changes in
2009.
Current and future salaried
retirees will see an increase in the
amount they contribute toward the cost
of their medical benefits.

to take the fight against childhood
obesity in our schools seriously

Tuesday, he recognized Raleigh
Court Elementary for the success of its
running club, called GET FIT.
The governor says this a model
for other schools.
About 40 students get up every
Thursday morning just to run.
Two have logged more than 100
miles this school year.
The governor plans to sign a new
bill that will help develop "standard
of health" for school's in the
commonwealth focused on nutrition and
physical activity.

a shooting.

William Gutersloh is charged with the
murder.
Cody Moore admitted he was a drug
dealer at the time and says Gutersloh
was angry with him over a bad drug
deal.
Moore says Gutersloh attacked him
in a restaurant just days before
Pleasants murder.

It's called the Forever Stamp.
