fourteen year old brother back on
February 14th.

charged with first degree murder after
the State Police crime lab analyzed the

the question being raised in Alabama...

But Alabama's governor is
defending the school's decision.

School leaders were warned about
the severe weather nearly three hours

before the twister hit....but say
carnage would have been greater if
students had been outside or on the
road when the storm came through.

Some residents however, feel very
differently.

The last of the bodies were
removed today.

The students were among 20 people
killed by tornadoes in Alabama, Georgia
and Missouri.

Assisted Living Facility in Roanoke
contracted an infectious illness.

the bacteria caused the resident's
death. She did have other health
problems.

today's deadly bus crash in Georgia
mistook an exit ramp for a lane...this
according to investigators.

like this morning...the charter bus,
carrying the Bluffton University
baseball team, plunged off an overpass
and onto pavement 30 feet below near
downtown Atlanta.

The driver, his wife, and four
students were killed in the
accident.....29 people were
injured...six of them critically...

The N-T-S-B is investigating.

kidnapping charges....in connection
with a confrontation she had with the
woman she apparently viewed as a
romantic rival....

But prosecutors did NOT file an
attempted murder charge against her.

Nowak and Navy Captain Colleen
Shipman were both allegedly vying for
the affections of another astronaut,
Navy Commander William Oefelein.

Nowak was arrested near the
Orlando airport after she allegedly
attempted to attack Shipman.

She has pleaded not guilty, and
her lawyer says she denies the

charges filed today.

Nowak has been placed on 30 day
leave and removed from fight status and
all mission related activities.

man accused of murdering his
ex-girlfriend at a Walmart.

did NOT decide if Rodney Startz will be
able to take back his guilty plea to
the first degree murder of Donna
Angelo.

The judge also granted the
defense another mental evaluation to
see if Startz is competent to stand
trial.

Police say he walked into the
Fairlawn Walmart last year and shot
Angelo in the head.

Startz says he stopped talking
antidepressants shortly before the
shooting...and the side effects are
what drove him to murder.

Moving into the work week.....Monday
Reverend Falwell's comments on global
warming took the top spot. In a sermon
Falwell calls global warming a myth,

while many experts disagree, the topic
certainly brought a lot of mixed
feelings among our viewers.

Tuesday it was all about the little boy
that was able to bring all of Floyd
County together. Joshua Cantrell fought
hard but died from a rare brain tumor
Monday afternoon.

Wednesday people wanted to see what all
the ruckus was over....a Franklin
County man put up a sign as revenge
against the people that stole his ATVs.
