Living center after a resident came
down with an infectious disease.

and employees at Eastwood Assisted
Living which is owned by the Friendship
Retirement Community.

Manor we were told to call back this
morning.
Group A streptococcus is a
bacterium that is spread through
personal contact -- it's the same bug
that causes strep throat -- and can
sometimes lead to "flesh eating"
bacteria.

back in 20-05 -- and at least two
people died then.
Most of those infections came
from a single unit -- and all residents

Agency reports at least nine deaths in
Georgia.

fatal shooting inside a motel room.

Around 5:15 yesterday morning,
officers were called to the Innkeeper
Hotel on Piney Forest Road for a
reported shooting.
They found 36-year-old Ethan Tyrone
Stockton of Martinsville inside one of
the rooms, dead of an apparent gunshot
wound.

Group A streptococcus is a
bacterium that is spread through
personal contact -- it's the same bug
that causes strep throat -- and can
sometimes lead to "flesh eating"
bacteria.

legislation that would pull US troops
out of Iraq if benchmarks are not met.

begin floor debate on Iraq as early as

suspects for a shooting incident
Wednesday, but so far, no arrests.

fired shots at another vehicle at
Hershberger Road and Rutgers Avenue,
then took off.
No one was struck by any bullets.
Investigators say a third vehicle that
was NOT an intended target was hit by
gunfire, but no one was hurt.
