Last night, a jury found 30
year-old William Gutersloh guilty of
murdering Pleasnts.

After waiting more than 6 years
for authorities to arrest William
Gutersloh for the murder of Lori
Pleasants, it took a jury just under 6
hours to find Gutersloh guilty of first
degree murder and guilty of defiling
her corpse.

This verdict comes after a week
of testimony where the jury heard from
Gutersloh's old friends that he admited
to killing the former Radford
University student.

Bush called the scene "hard to

students were killed.
The president gave a brief report

mattered today as the Keydets had a
chance to advance to the NCAA
Tournament with a win over Winthrop in

NC State shocked top seeded Duke 70 to
65 to reach the final while Carolina is
leading Maryland in the second half.
The Virginia Tech Women bowed out of
the tournament yesterday with a 30
point loss to the Tarheels.
The Hokies are in Jeopardy of
missing out on the N-C-A-A Tournament
for the first time since the 2-thousand

But Tech Head Coach is confident
