the crime and last July, Thomas Lee

the murder of a motel owner back in
2000.

Betty DeSai was beaten and shot to
death at the Park Inn Hotel on Melrose
Avenue.

tonight.....An accident re-construction
team spent the day trying to piece
together what happened in yesterday's
deadly crash.

Yesterday 18-year-old Andrew Hyram Thulin was
headed east on Route 130 in Amherst
County when he ran off the side of the
road.

Thulin apparently overcorrected and
swerved into the westbound lane where
his truck was hit head-on by a tractor
trailer.

Thulin was not wearing a seatbelt
and was thrown from his car ... he was
pronounced dead at the scene.

facility's record and reputation after
claims of shoddy condition at Walter
Reed Army Medical Center surfaced last
week.

Carolyn Adams says the hospital
is subjected to numerous inspections

year, which it has always passed with
positive results.

Adams says the V-A is working to
help veterans across the region by
opening a new clinic in Lynchburg...But

kidnapping and raping a 9 year old
girl.

suffocated to death when she was buried
alive.
