for Henry County.

Shortly after Bassett announced
it's cutting at least 280 employees in
the next three months -

News surfaced that Georgia
Pacific, formerly J & J Corrugated,

will also cut 60 out of 178 jobs by
April

And, add one more company to that
list.

Dutailier (Du-tall-eeee-a), well
known for it's glider rocking chairs
and baby furniture is shutting down by
early summer.

The Virginia Employment
Commission is trying to relocate as
many employees to other jobs as
possible.

Right now they say there are
about 300 vacant positions in the area.

The Civic Center says there's a
reason we're seeing more shows.

One reason is there are more open
dates because the Dazzle and Vipers are
no longer in Roanoke.

The city also recently hired a
new booking agent who's job is to bring
