afternoon in Amherst County.

in bombings and shootings in Baghdad.

weekend accidentally drowned.

That's the ruling of a state
medical examiner, according to Roanoke
County police.

Officers found the body of
45-year-old John Lewis Sloan in Masons
Creek Sunday morning.

They did not find any signs
of foul play.

Danville police have also
ended their investigation into what was
believed to be a suspicious death.

Investigators say 90-year-old
Phillip Petty died of hypothermia

hit a tractor trailer head on.
