Both died over the weekend in a
house fire in Farmville.

celebrate the lives of Ed Cunningham
and Byron Jamerson.

AND IN FACT IF YOU WANTED TO BE IN A
BETTER MOOD JUST GO FIND HIM. THIS
STATEMENT IS SO TRUE BECAUSE ED'S SMILE
WAS FULL OF EXCITEMENT AND HE WAS
ALWAYS THERE TO LEND A HAND.

Loved ones describe the two as
loving to live life to the full.

They enjoyed surfing, playing the
guitar and riding four wheelers.

BYRON DID NOT LIVE A LIFE OF REGRET.
HE LIVED A LIFE OF PASSION, HAPPINESS
AND LOVE.

While the night was to remember
Cunningham and Jamerson, the service
did not conclude without recognition of
Tim Cocrane who received a standing
ovation for rescuing 3 people from the

burning house.

Yet, the two who had been
long-time childhood friends did not
escape.

THOSE GUYS WERE FRIENDS WHO WERE
TOGEHTER SO LONG AND SO OFTEN THAT AT
TIMES THEY APPEARED TO BE
INTERCHANGEABLE.

Family called their relationship
a unique one, characterizing them as
being as close to brothers as two
friends could be.

They say they were alwasy side by
side in life and now even in death.

But tonight, this retired teacher
got his own lesson in the law.

almost 23 years after the crime was
committed in Nelson County.

years for the crime- -until D-N-A
proved his innocence.

Now authorities are focusing on Michael
Nicholaou NICK-allow - -a man who
killed his wife and stepdaughter, then
himself in 2005.

Honaker is skeptical that investigators
can link Nicholaou to the crime, though
he's intrigued by something Nicholaou
said after being acquitted on obscenity
charges.

tonight, charged with leading Amherst
County authorities on a high-speed
chase through two jurisdictions this
morning.

into cars in the Madison Heights area
and gave police a description of their
car.

Authorities say they chased the car
at speeds of more than 100 miles per
hour, but called it off when the
suspects started driving southbound in

The chase ended on a dead-end
street in Lynchburg where police
discovered the suspects' car had stolen
Virginia tags bolted on top of its
original Florida plates.

probably won't be checking out this new
attraction at the Grand Canyon.

*CG locator Grand Canyon National Park,
AZ A glass-bottomed walkway, which
juts out over the canyon giving
tourists a bird's eye view, is almost
in its final stages.

The Skywalk, as it will be known,
weighs more than one-milllion pounds
and is being held in place by a system
of pulleys and hydraulic lifts.

The developer of the project says
the walkway can withstand 100
mile-per-hour winds.

The 30 million dollar project
will be open to tourists at the end of
the month.
