County and Lynchburg this morning
landed three Florida men in custody on
several charges.

It started with a report of someone
breaking into cars in several locations
around Madison Heights.

A witness told police what the car
looked like.. even got the license...
and officers later tried pulling the
car over on Route 29.

That's when the vehicle took off at
speeds of over 100 miles an hour, and
then headed south in the northbound
lanes.

Utin was by many accounts a

hassle for computer owners, one farmer
I talked with today is planning to milk
the extra time for all its worth.

100 head of cattle, there's always
something to do and never enough time

Many part-time farmers will also
benefit from the time change. This

The ladies were up first today as Floyd
County tried to keep its perfect season
alive.

Alan and Travis Cantrell had their eyes
on the prize today as their team took
on talented Stonewall Jackson.

The Buffs went inside to

Floyd got great play from its
bench as well. 8 players played at
least 12 minutes, including Molly Brown
who knocks in the jumper from the right
elbow.

Cantrell's *CG final Floyd County team forced 34 turnovers and rolled 87 into the championship round with an 87 Stonewall Jackson to 64 win over Stonewall Jackson.

They're judged not just on how fast
the car goes.. but on its design and
the presentation- the students must
give before a panel of international
judges.

The car is made out of balsa wood and
is light.. weighing about half as much
as a typical cell phone.
