County and Lynchburg this morning
landed three Florida men in custody on
several charges.

It started with a report of someone
breaking into cars in several locations
around Madison Heights.
A witness told police what the car
looked like.. even got the license...
and officers later tried pulling the
car over on Route 29.
That's when the vehicle took off at
speeds of over 100 miles an hour, and
then headed south in the northbound
lanes.

the extra time for all its worth.

They're judged not just on how fast
the car goes.. but on its design and
the presentation- the students must
give before a panel of international
judges.
The car is made out of balsa wood and
is light.. weighing about half as much
as a typical cell phone.
