morning on molestation charges.

:00 Utin molested a 12 year old girl over a
period of several years in both Ohio
and Blacksburg.

for Friday, was suddenly changed to
11:30 today.

Salem V-A Medical Center stood by her
facility's record and reputation after
claims of shoddy condition at Walter
Reed Army Medical Center surfaced last
week.
Carolyn Adams says the hospital
is subjected to numerous inspections
and surprise surveys throughout the
year, which it has always passed with
positive results.
Adams says the V-A is working to
help veterans across the region by
opening a new clinic in Lynchburg...But
you'll have to wait for that until the
end of the year.

calling for another library....

it has been trying to convince the
Board of Supervisors to build a second
branch.
Currently there's only one
location that services approximately 50
thousand people.
Depending on where you live,
going to the library could be a 20
minute drive.
Some feel that's way too long.

next week.
But computer professionals in the
Roanoke Valley say they do not expect
any MAJOR problems.

networks have been preparing for the
time change early Sunday morning.
Roanoke. for example, has updated
the software that controls the city's
E-911 system.
Many home computers set to
receive automatic updates may already

Governor Tim Kaine is dealing with the
issue this week.

Last Week He's coming to Roanoke this
morning to meet with leaders from
central and southwest Virginia.
Some are concerned the plan's
two- and- a half billion dollar bond
package cannot be used for secondary
roads-- something that could cause
problems in rural Virginia.
Kaine worries there isn't enough
money in the plan for road
maintenance.....
His main concern though remains
over the use of general fund dollars to
pay off the bond debt.
The governor has until March 26th
to make changes to the bill.
