pleaded no contest to molesting two
former students.

VO-NAT 42 year old Karen Susan Patton
was found guilty of two counts of
carnal knowledge and one count of
non-forcible sodomy.

File Middle School in Wytheville for a year
and was at one point a teacher of the
year in Carroll County.
Prosecutors say Patton molested
two 13 year old boys in her home in
January of 2006 and August of 2004.
She will remain out on bond,
until she is sentenced in June.

The drama began early Saturday morning
in Lubbock, Texas. Surveillance
video shows 21-year old Rayshaun
Parson, posing as a medical worker
walking out of the hospital with the
newborn reportedly in her bag.

100 miles away in New Mexico.

Clovis, New Mexico."

the suspect.
At an extradition hearing monday in

back to lubbock to face kidnapping
charges.

cars had the liquified propane on

bypass surgery this week.

He made the announcement today on
"Live With Regis and Kelly."
The 75-year-old says he's been having
chest pains and
shortness of breath and that after
numerous tests, doctors
recommended the bypass.
But, Philbin definitely isn't looking
forward to the surgery. He would have
preferred a simpler procedure, but he
says "there's some plaque in some
arteries and I've got to get it cleaned
out."

MUSICAL THE FULL MONTY.. LITTLE DID HE
KNOW THERE WOULD BE SO MUCH MADE OF HIS
BARE BEHIND. SEE.. THE SHOW.. NOW
PLAYING AT THE VENICE LITTLE THEATER..
IS ABOUT LAID OFF STEEL WORKERS WHO
STRIP TO MAKE A LIVING FOR THEIR
FAMILIES... AND IN THE BIG FINALE..
THERE'S A NUDE SCENE. " If it were a
movie it would be rated PG at the most
PG13. You never actually see any
frontal nudity. We're not doing
anything obscene or disgusting on
stage. It's very brief the time that
we're out on stage without any clothes
on. " BUT BRENNER'S BOSSES AT THE
SCHOOL DISTRICT.. DON'T EXACTLY AGREE..
AND GAVE THE PART TIME MUSIC TEACHER AN
ULTIMATUM. QUIT THE SHOW.. OR QUIT THE
CLASSROOM. "My only regret in the whole
thing is that he, none of them have
come to see the show to make an
informed decision." MANY THEATERGOERS
ON THE OTHER HAND.. SEEM TO THINK IT'S
MUCH A-DO ABOUT NOTHING. "I don't think
he should have lost his job over it. I
mean you see more on t.v. Than you do
here, and I mean it's just a play. It's
not like he's going to go down Main
Street." ALTHOUGH SOME SAY.. MAYBE THE
SCHOOL DISTRICT HAS A POINT.. TEACHERS
WHO TAKE THEIR CLOTHES OFF IN PUBLIC..
SHOULDN'T BE IN FRONT OF STUDENTS. "I
suppose the school system does have to
have a set of standards, but I feel
sorry for the young man who is going to
quit his job." BUT JASON BRENNER SAYS
HE'S NOT REALLY THAT SORRY. HE'S AN
ARTIST AND PERFORMER FIRST.. A TEACHER
SECOND... " I enjoy it, but it's not
something that I love. This is what I
love." SO THE SHOW WILL GO ON.
