of U-S forces in Iraq wants even more
troops.
The Boston Globe reports General
David Petraeus Pa-trey-us is going to
ask for another Army combat aviation
unit.
The three-thousand-or-so troops
would support the more than 26-thousand
already part of President Bush's
buildup plan.

letup to their challenge of President
Bush's Iraq policy.
A House committee approved a
troop withdrawal deadline of September
First, 2008.
But a softer Senate plan went
down to defeat.
A bill that called for a troop

fell 12 votes short of the 60 it needed
for passage.

GRAPHIC=Robbery Three adults and two juveniles
have been charged with armed robbery
and firearm charges.
Bedford County Sheriff's
investigators say the accused entered
an apartment on Centerville Road in
Bedford last Friday night.
They reportedly used hand guns to
rob the residents.

Ryland Lee and Durell Brown, both
of Body Camp, have been arrested and
are being held without bond.
The juveniles are being held in
the Lynchburg Detention Home.
Sheriff's are still looking for
the third adult, 21-year-old Tyrell D.

Spinner's where-abouts should call the
Bedford County Sheriff's Office.

Christiansburg is closed for good.

restaurant this month.
Henderson says the store wasn't
making enough money and they closed it
for business reasons.

cruise ship, a 24 year old man was
found and rescued by the Coast Guard.

The incident happened thirty
miles off the shore of Fort Lauderdale
According to a witness, the man
ran through a ship cabin window and
fell into the water.
It's not clear if the window was
open.
The witness said the man was
intoxicated.
The man was flown to Jackson
Memorial Hospital in Miami.
There is no immediate word on his
condition.

Basketball Tournament.
