Southside, thanks to a 20 million
dollar investment by a company called
Matrix Technologies.

Pittsylvania County officials made
the announcement during a news
conference this morning.

Matrix will occupy a shell building
in the Ringgold East Industrial Park,
as well as build several new buildings
on the same site.

Matrix manufactures a product
called Fibercrete ... a lighter, less

expensive and more environmentally
friendly kind of concrete building
material.

They hope to break ground within
the next few months.

sick with kidney failure.

Poochie's owner says she bought food
last week ... food that's now being

pulled from the shelves of stores
nationwide.

recalled all of it's Cuts and

Gravy wet style dog & cat food produced
between December 3, 2006 and

March 6, 2007.

It's sold under nearly 100 different
brands, including big sellers like

Eukanuba, Iams, and Nutro ... and
store brands sold at Wal-Mart, Kroger

and Safeway.

wheat gluten from a new supplier

which may be the source of the problem
... while pet owners are being

encouraged to take a close look in
their cupboards to make sure their

pet's food is safe ..and look out for
the warning signs if they've

shows a man long suspected of planning
the bombing of the U-S-S Cole has
confessed to the attack.

Waleed Mohammed Bin Attash made the
confession during a hearing at
Guantanamo Bay.

According to the transcript, he also

of U- S embassies in Kenya and
Tanzania that killed more than 200
people.

house shooting Friday night.

of Hanover Avenue.

People were home at the time, but
nobody was hurt.

Neighbors tell us they heard
about 10 to 15 guns shots...then the

Police say that shooting was a
case of mistaken identity.

Nobody was hurt then either, but

about half a day's worth of some types,
