following the ordeal of missing North
Carolina scout Michael Auberry very
closely.
Many say they're not surprised
he made it out ok.

from day one, they teach anyone who
joins the troop how to survive out in
the wilderness.
The scouts will need it because
on average most troops go camping at
least once a month.
Some will go a step further and
receive a wilderness training merit

County did nearly two years ago.

heard about the national recall on
certain brands of pet food.
And we were curious to see just
how many pets in our area were affected
by the recall....

poll, while the clear majority, 71
percent of households own a dog or
cat....of those people, 13 percent had
one of the brands that was part of the
recall, 81 percent did not have any of
the tainted food, leaving five percent

"friends" with money.

Marjorie Hodge admits the library
did not meet state requirements, and
lacked support from the community.
Hodge hopes more supporters of
the library will come forward.

county supervisors for funding later
this spring.

Three nights a week they can hear
live music.. including blue grass on
Wednesday nights, and jazz and more on
weekends.
This is not a big chain coffee

and gourmet crepes.
The folks who run the drive
through "Java the Huts" around town-
run the coffee house.

hefty reward in an old murder case.

down on Union Street on March 11th,
2004.
Since then, friends, family

have been donating money for a reward.

from a suspected drunk driver yesterday

Police say 34-year-old Wesley
Smith is behind this mess.
They say he crashed his Jeep into
an apartment complex on the 900 block
of Brandon around three yesterday
morning.
The outside is pretty torn up but
the inside looks even worse.
Once Smith's car hit the wall it
flew straight through the bedroom and
landed on top of 58-year-old Arthor
Blevins who was asleep at the time in
his bed.

prostitution.
