Rockets strike Baghdad's Green Zone
nearly every day...but THIS was

close...

BOOM

UN Secretary General Ban ki Moon ducked
behind a podium as a rocket

exploded near the Convention Center,
where he was holding a press

conference with Iraqi Prime Minister
Nouri al-Maliki.

Notice the Prime Minister DIDN'T

flinch...Iraqis are used to such

blasts...he even told his security men
'nothing's wrong,' and both men

finished the press conference.

The Green Zone is SUPPOSED to be the
most protected compound in Iraq,

fortified by 20-foot cement blast
barriers -- guarded by troops armed to

the teeth.

But those safeguards can't stop a
rocket.

NATS....BLAST

The Secretary General's close call
brought a DEADLY flashback.

During THIS news conference in 2003....

NAT BLAST - CAMERA GOES TO BLACK

a massive truck bomb blew up outside
the UN headquarters in Baghdad,

killing the top UN envoy in Iraq and 21
others.

Shortly after, the UN pulled out of

Iraq... never to return in big

numbers.

Not until the security situation
improves....Iraq simply isn't safe

enough.

*THIS* ROCKET ATTACK COMES AT A TIME
WHEN THE IRAQI GOVERNMENT DISCLOSED

IT HAS HELD TALKS WITH SUNNI
INSURGENTS...BUT THEY'RE DEADLOCKED:

INSURGENTS SAYING THEY'LL LAY DOWN
THEIR ARMS WHEN THERE'S A TIMETABLE

FOR US TROOP WITHDRAWAL, AND IRAQ'S
GOVERNMENT SAYING NO PULLOUT UNTIL

SECURITY IS RESTORED.

(END SOT) Japanese plastic surgeons call it

"natural breast enlargement" - no
synthetic implants, and no going under
the knife.

Instead of silicon or saline implants,
the technique uses a woman's own body
fat.

About 20 ounces of fat is liposuctioned
from thigh or stomach... mixed with the
woman's own stem cells... and then
re-injected into her breasts.

"We're just adding to the fat already
in the breast," says this physician.
"So the new breast could easily pass as
the woman's own natural one."

Adding stem cells ensures the graft
grows its own blood supply - and
becomes part of the breast.

The clinic claims no major
complications with each of the 50
Japanese patients who have tried the
treatment so far...

NAT SOT (me talking with woman in

to replace leaky, disfiguring or just
plain uncomfortable gel implants...

"COMPARED TO MY IMPLANTS, THIS FEELS
REALLY SOFT AND NATURAL," SHE SAYS.
"I'M VERY HAPPY WITH IT."

TRACK But doctors pioneering stem-cell
breast enlargement say that on esthetic
or safety grounds, the technique trumps
artificial implants by a wide margin...

SOT (doctor) "Implants are easy to use,

so they won't disappear altogether,"
says the doctor. "But I think our
technique will make implants largely
obsolete."

the procedure will become widespread
