Route 220 blocked.

diesel fuel crashed before 2:30 this
morning on Route 220 near downtown
Fincastle.

The driver was killed.

This Morning It appears the truck went into a
ditch and flipped over.

The contents of the tanker were
spilled all over the roadway.

No other vehicles were involved.

V-Dot officials, state and local
police, Haz-mat, and fire and rescue
crews are on the scene.

It is expected to take several
hours to clear off the roadway.

Drivers may have to detour their
routes this morning.

Travellers who normally take 220
North are asked to use 81-North to 64.

Southbound, use 64-to-81.

It is unclear exactly how long

both lanes will be closed on 220.

Driver are asked to use caution,
and expect delays.

The cause of this fatal accident
is still under investigation.

Kimberly, there is another
accident to report this morning
involving a tractor trailer.

A wreck in Alleghany County has
closed all lanes on I-64 east and west,
at exits 24 and 27, in Clifton Forge.

Drivers should expect delays
there as well.

into a fire that killed 167 dogs in
Bland County.

The fire chief says it was an

accident and does not suspect any foul
play.

He believes it started from a
kerosene heater left inside the kennel
used to keep the animals warm.

The fire broke out early
Wednesday morning around 4:30.

The family owned a breeding farm,
and there were 15 different kinds of
dogs killed-- including chihuahuas,
cocker spaniels and yorkshire terriers.

HEALTH CHECK ANIMATION with the most common type of breast
cancer known as invasive ductal cancer.

She underwent treatment and
thought she was cured... but just how
common is it for this breast cancer to
show up again?.

The medical director of the
Carilion Breast Care Center said
yesterday, when diagnosed and treated
in its early stages -- most of the time
this type of cancer doesn't re- occur.

But when it does -- it often
happens in women whose cancer was over
an inch in size when first diagnosed
--and the lymph nodes were also
affected.

Doctor Lee Tucker says all breast
cancers have the potential to leave the
breast and spread to the bones.

IT MAY CREATE PAIN BUT IT CAN ALSO
CAUSE A FRACTURE, IT WEAKENS THE BONE
BY GROWING WITHIN IT AND DESTROYING THE
NORMAL STRUCTURE OF THE BONE

Elizabeth Edwards says she recently

cracked a rib -- and it was during an
x-ray that the suspicious spot, which
turned out to be cancer, was detected.

Her course of treatment will most
likely include radiation and
chemotherapy.

SURVIVAL WITH BONE METASTASIS IS QUITE
VARIABLE DEPENDING ON THE PATIENT.

What doctor Tucker does know is
that when a cancer spreads outside the
breast there is only a 15 to 20 percent
chance of survival. And that's a
significant difference compared to a
cancer caught when it's still in the
breast --chances of survival are over
90-percent. He points out all cancers
start out localized to the breast,
which he says should be a wake-up call
for women.

The driver was killed.

ditch and flipped over.

The contents of the tanker were
spilled all over the roadway.

No other vehicles were involved.

V-Dot officials, state and local

hours to clear off the roadway.

Drivers may have to detour their
routes this morning.

Travellers who normally take 220
North are asked to use 81-North to 64.

Southbound, use 64-to-81.

morning on Route 220 near downtown

Fincastle.

The driver was killed.

The contents of the tanker were
spilled all over the roadway.

No other vehicles were involved.

V-Dot officials, state and local

Drivers may have to detour their
routes this morning.

Travellers who normally take 220
North are asked to use 81-North to 64.

Southbound, use 64-to-81.

into a fire that killed 167 dogs in
Bland County.

The fire chief says it was an
accident and does not suspect any foul

He believes it started from a
kerosene heater left inside the kennel
used to keep the animals warm.

The fire broke out early
Wednesday morning around 4:30.

himself in his home and held police at
bay for five hours last summer was
sentenced yesterday as a career
criminal.

The sentence of almost 22-years
may be the first time Ricky Edward
Davis has had the book thrown at him.

"It's a phone book," Judge Sam
Wilson said, referring to the length of
Davis' prior record: 16
convictions...half of them felonies.

Forge teen accused of raping and
kidnapping a woman.

DNA evidence was entered last
month in the case against 18-year-old
Andrew Washburn - now forensic evidence
involving boot impressions have been
submitted.

According to documentation
submitted in district court, a boot
print found at the rape scene shows
the same size, design and sole
characteristics- as a pair taken from
Washburn and submitted to the lab for
examination.

But the same report says a
definite conclusion cannot be drawn.

Washburn is accused of taking a
woman from Clifton Forge and raping her
in a remote area of Botetourt County in
