on Interstate 81.

According to state police....a
tractor trailer crashed and is causing
significant delays.

The accident is blocking both
northbound lanes

Traffic is backed up for miles

route 460.

The interstate could be closed
until sometime tomorrow morning.

No reports of injuries at this

Corps of Cadets laid a wreath at the
national D-Day Memorial in Bedford.

They took a walking tour of the
memorial and listened to first hand
accounts from a veteran who fought on
the front lines.

Organizers say this experience
was a way to show those students who
are about to enter the Navy what to
expect.

It also helped drive home the
reality of war.

next step toward bridging a gap that
has been around for a while.

with a new construction project.

The Clements Mill Bridge on Route
6-87 has been closed for some time due
to maintenance concerns.

VDOT is finally giving the county
permission to build a new single-lane
bridge....

project to its budget.

The old bridge used to connect
the Red Valley area to the Wirtz and
Burnt Chimney communities.

The hope is, that the new
thoroughfare will enhance travel.

27-year-old man in custody for killing
his 19-year-old girlfriend.

They say he cut her up then
burned her body.

cabin balcony doctors say a man and
woman are in satisfactory condition.

The Grand Princess ship was about
150 miles off the coast of Texas when
the pair fell overboard.

No one knows how the two ended
up in the water but it appears to have

tonight.

28-year-old Wayne R. Mack was
seen at Hanover and 10th streets.

He was last wearing handcuffs...

Mack is wanted for pety

2010.

in behavior, and loss of initiative.

the disease is caught early.

Elizabeth Edwards thought she was
cured from breast cancer but it now
it's returned this time in her bones.

Doctor Lee Tucker says all breasts
cancer have the potential to spread to
the bones.

He says once this happens there is
only a 15 to 20 percent chance of
survival. He points out if its caught
when it's still in the breast --the
chances of survival are over
90-percent. He says this should be a
wake-up call for other women.

Georgetown turned the tables in the
East Regional Final.

Carolina Tarheels.
