again have water following a main break
in the Garden City community last
night.

several neighborhoods in the area were
without water.

Crews worked into the night and
water was restored at around five
o'clock this morning.

Officials say they are still not
sure how the break happened, but the
damage were from the *26* through the
33-hundred blocks of Garden City
Boulevard.

tanker overtuned dumping nearly seven
thousand gallons of diesel fuel north
of Fincastle on Friday.

Emergency Crews say it's hard to
tell how much fuel they've been able to
absorb.

The spill contaminated Town and

The health department is running
tests to see if it affected well-water.

Public water has not been
tainted.

reaching a brush fire on Fort Lewis
mountain yesterday

fire - once there, they were able to
take control of it.

is being blamed for starting a fire at
a Salem business.

A spokesperson with the fire
department says flames broke out in one
of the side buildings.

Crews had it under control in
about 40-minutes.

The damage is estimated between

four-others injured after a fire broke
out early this morning at a Russian
strip club.

Moscow investigators are looking
into the deadly blaze and checking
whether club owners broke safety
regulations.

Witnesses say the fire broke out
when a performer accidentally set his
clothes on fire during a nightly event
known as the

"fire show."

The flames then reportedly spread
to a nearby container of flammable
liquid.

About 150-people escaped
unharmed.

But, officials say this fire
underscores a larger problem in the

country- nearly 17-thousand people died
last year in structure fires.

cured from breast cancer but it now
it's returned this time in her bones.

Doctor Lee Tucker says all breasts
cancer have the potential to spread to
the bones.

He says once this happens there is
only a 15 to 20 percent chance of
survival. He points out if its caught
when it's still in the breast --the
chances of survival are over
90-percent. He says this should be a

wake-up call for other women.

A powerful, deadly earthquake
struck Japan early on Sunday, killing
at least one person and injuring 110
others.

VO NAT It violently shook buildings and
triggered a small tsunami that hit the
coast.

The magnitude-7.1 quake struck at
9:42 a.m. according to Japan's

Meteorological Agency.

Television footage from the quake
zone showed buildings shaking violently
for about 30 seconds.

Other shots showed collapsed
buildings, and shops with shattered
windows, streets cluttered with roof
tiles and roads with their pavement
cracked.

Some Colorado buffalos got a
break from the heat Saturday when a
spring snowstorm blew through the
state.

For weeks now, Colorado has had
clear skies and temperatures in the
70's. March is the state's snowiest
month but not this year. It's been dry
until yesterday!

Several inches of snow fell in
the mountains and foothills while in
lower elevations there was much-needed
rain.

Warm and dry weather returns
there again next week.

hands-free communication devices.

This change comes after Governor
Kaine gave his green light of approval

from using a cellphone while driving.
