led a father to spearhead a national
petition campaign to slow down trucks
on the highway.

December 2002 22-year-old Cullum Owings was killed in
December of 2002 when a semi plowed
into his vehicle as he and his brother
returned from Thanksgiving break.

His brother, Pierce, survived the crash
unharmed.

In the wake of that accident, their
father Steve Owings has co-founded a
non-profit organization called Road
Safe America.

The group's mission is to petition the
Department of Transportation to
restrict the maximum speed of
semi-trucks to 68 miles per hour.

of Roanoke are no doubt hoping they've
seen the last of water main breaks for
a while. Two of them disrupted water
service over the weekend.

28-hundred block of Garden City
Boulevard around 8:00 P-M.

That problem was fixed early
Sunday morning, but a couple of hours
later, another water break happened in

and within the same block and leaving
the same community without service.

Princess Cruises is investigating
why two passengers fell from a cabin on
a cruise ship in the Gulf of Mexico
yesterday.

Officials say the two were found
four hours later with minor injuries.

hit early yesterday morning.

Officials are also hailing Japan's

Some pizza parlors near Cincinnati
are turning their boxes into wanted
posters for deadbeat dads.

The local child enforcement agency
recruited pizzerias to help spread the
word about parents wanted for not
paying child support.

to be paying child support out of fear

of being exposed.

Meanwhile, a group called American
Coalition for Fathers and Children is
outraged over the boxes, which they say
devastate the children who see their
father's picture on them.

McKay has held four other head

racing on the high banks was just like
it's been for the last 50 years at
Thunder Valley.

Dogs and their owners competed
for ribbons and titles.

This was an agility course which
meant everyone on the field had to be
