Just a few days after the President s
spokesman Tony Snow promised the White
House Press corps he would be back to
work soon there s word his cancer has
returned.
Doctors removed a small growth from
Snow s abdomen yesterday and the White
House has confirmed the cancer has
spread to his liver.

Snow told the president bush about his
condition this morning, the president
and mrs. bush say the white house team
is praying for him..

It unclear how long Snow will be out of
work or exactly what treatment he will
undergobut he s said to be in good
spirits.

in the liver, it didn't start there.
The cancer most likely spread from
somewhere else in the body.
In Snow's case -- he was
originally diagnosed with colon cancer.
He had his entire colon removed and
underwent six months of chemotherapy in
2005.

NO SUPER --less than 11-percent of liver cancer
patients are still alive five years
after diagnosis.
This year alone, nearly 17-thousand
Americans are expected to die from
liver cancer.
Surgery or a liver transplant are
the only chances for a cure. But in
most cases, it's not possible to remove
all of the cancer.

night-vision goggles, I-T-T admits

cut costs and increase profits.
The company has entered into a plea
agreement with the U-S government and
is expected to plead guilty in federal
court in Roanoke tomorrow.
I-T-T admits sending
"export-controlled" information to
China, Singapore and Japan over a
25-year period.

appropriate any money.
The governor also clarified
language in an eminent domain bill,
saying a locality may only condemn
property to promote specific public
interests.
Local housing authorities,

Beach bank turned into an all day
standoff at an office building across
the street.

there was a BANK ROBBERY, they are
LOCKING DOWN THE BUILDING."
Police responded to a bank robbery
call. After quickly capturing one
suspect fleeing the Commercial Bank,
they got a phone call from two
people inside the Sheridan Center
across the street. They had a simple
message: Release the suspect or they
would start shooting. People who
were inside the building say they are
happy to get out alive.

suspects.

player of the week by USA Softball for
