Office has identified a man found in
the Cowpasture River earlier today.

The victim is 28-year-old Thomas
Andrew Camp of Augusta County.
A rescue team found his body this
morning shortly after 9:00 near
Riverland Road in the Sharon area of
Alleghany County.
Crews started searching for him
last night around 7:00 after receiving
reports of a man in the river.
Witnesses told law enforcement
they saw a man walking in the area.
But they do not know how he ended
up in the water.
His family had reported him
missing, but authorities do not suspect
foul play.

Yesterday Morva is accused of three botched
robbery attempts from August of 2005.
You may remember Morva is also
the Blacksburg man who escaped custody
last summer while awaiting this robbery
trial.
Police say while on the run he
killed two people.
In this trial, Morva pleaded not
guilty to eight charges.
Police say he tried to rob a
convenience store, Burger King and
A-T-M machine.

County, and local leaders say they're
thrilled.

The new store will employ about
250 people, most of them full-time.

concerning the assistant coaching
vacancy at Virginia Tech that was
created last week when Brad Greenberg
left to become the head coach at
Radford.

Roanoke native and current DePaul
assistant coach Ramon Williams is a
candidate for the vacany on Seth
Greenberg's staff.
The VMi grad has been an
assistant at DePaul for the past two
season and before that he was at the
University of Richmond and before that
at his alma mater VMI.
Ramon is proven recruiter and his
ties to the state and mid-atlantic
region are many.
Sources tell us that there is a
mutual interest from both parties.

Denny Hamlin won the pole for
Sunday's Goody's Cool Orange 500.

Practiced today, they will qualify and
race tomorrow at Martinsville.
Brendan Gaughan is looking

unexpected surprise in his kindergarten
class...his dad returning home from
Iraq.
Sailor Bill Hawes (Hauls)
returned home to Washington State after
a seven month deployment, and his son
had no idea he was coming home yet.
The son has been writing letters
to his dad while overseas.
