was recovering from heart surgery.

over a life of memories with her
mother, Lourena Hamm.

Hamm was having difficulty
breathinng and her husband called 911
at 1:40 in the morning.

The first ambulance showed up at

two people in order to make it happen.

The car ended up breaking down on
the highway so police say the
24-year-old walked to a nearby house,

60s, but it's typically warmer in the
Roanoke, Lynchburg and Danville with
highs near 70.

the late morning and early afternoon
hours, and it can cool rapidly at
night.

Lows across the area are usually in
around 40 degrees, with the coolest air
tucked into the New River Valley, where
lows average in the upper 30s.

flowers. We usually see around
3-and-a-half to 4-inches of rain this

seemingly frequent showers can also
washout some of the pollen that's in
