But to qualify for the freebies, you

The airline came up with the

CBS Sports-NCAA Productions Ohio State, on the otherhand, was :00 trying to prove that it was worthy of
this title shot as it entered a packed

Georgia Dome.

Most figured Ohio State would be
OK if big man Greg Oden could stay out
of foul trouble - and he did just that
scoring 11 first half points and
committing just one personal foul.

But it's not usually the best
player, but more often that not the
best team and Florida's defense gave
Ohio State all kinds of trouble in the
opening half fprcing turnovers and
turning them into hoops on the opposite
end.

And even then they ran offense -
the Gators and specifically Corey
Brewer were on their games.

The six-nine forward hit three long
bombs and helped Florida take an 11
point halftime lead on the Buckeyes.

Ohio State would get the lead
into single digits on several occasions
as Oden scored 25, but Florida and in
particular Lee Humphrey always seemed
to have an answer as Florida killed the
Buckeyes from beyond the three point
arc. The Gators hit 10 threes while
Ohio State made just 4 of 23 treys. *CG final Florida
