guilty to charges he was trading
Oxycontin prescriptions for crack
cocaine.

53-year-old James Stanley Ross of
Clarksville appeared in Danville's
federal court this morning.
Ross was arrested January 17th in
the parking lot of the Danville K-Mart
after authorities set up a sting
operation with an informant.
They say Ross wrote a prescription
for 60 doses of Oycontin pills in
exchange for what he thought was crack
cocaine.
Ross faces up to 45 years in prison
and more than 2-million dollars.
He's agreed to surrender his
medical license.

student was hurt when he fell off a
dormitory roof.

(weeb)-Johnson, from Indiana, was
injured as students tried to pull a
stuffed buffalo from the university's
science center on to the roof of a
three story dorm.
Wiebe-Johnson was transported by
helicopter to U-V-A medical center.
His condition has not been
released.
A university vice president said
the accident is an example of what can
happen when a prank goes wrong.

Police are searching for the red pickup
driver who fled the scene.
The Governor was airlifted to a local
hospital where doctors inserted a rod
in his leg. For nowState Senate

stepped down in 2004.
It s not certain how long it will take
for Corzine to resume his duties. He s
scheduled for more surgery Saturday and
Monday.and doctors say it could be
months before he can walk

to finishing today.

Five horses and three mules were
used to haul 600-hundred bags of
concrete up the curvy path to the
bridge.
The bags weigh 40 and 80
pounds...but these pack animals can
carry about 200-hundred to
three-hundred pounds at one time.
The project to build the 28 foot
bridge is a joint effort between
hikers, bikers, and horse riders.
The construction is expected to
finish by next month.
